This is a land mark monument. Band stand at Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bangalore. It was built in pre-independence period, renovated during the regime of S.M Krishna as Chief Minister. Years back, great musicians and singers were performing in this place in the evenings. Now thanks to abundant means of entertainment, people do not throng on much to such programs in the evenings. As a ritual some musical programs are being organised during morning times on Sundays.
